Easy and Addictive Samosa Bites with Simple Ingredients!

My kids are getting bored eating the same thing nowadays. Pizza, biscuits, cold coffee, finger chips lolz!

They are just like, mom give us something different today! Its very challenging job to offer something new these day when all the shops and malls are closed due to Covid-19. 

Thanks to this simple and quick snack which made them feel special and they really enjoy it. 

Samosa bites doesn't require much ingredients and can be prepare with just few ingredients which are available in the kitchen. 

When we say Samosa, an traditional snack comes in front of us. Potato-peas stuffed, deep fried spicy and hot samosa. It goes best with hot tea. Most of us prefer Samosa-Chai in the evening. 

I have just tried this for my kids and it goes beyond imagination. They really enjoyed it. 

Let's jump down to the ingredients for Samosa Bites.

Cooking Time: 30 Minutes


  • 30-40 Crackers (I have used Monaco)
  • 3 large potatoes, boiled and peeled
  • 1/2 cup fresh green peas
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Corinader leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp chaat masala
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice
  • Tamrind-dates chutney


  1. Mash the boiled potatoes or you can grate them to maintain hygiene. 
  2. Blanch the fresh  peas till they are tender.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add oil.
  4. Once the oil is hot enough, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  5. Add all spices, sugar, salt and grated potatoes and peas. 
  6. Fry for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
  7. Switch off the gas and add completely.
  8. To assemble, put the crackers in a plate.
  9. Top it with the potato-peas filling.
  10. Top it with sweet chutney.
  11. Sprinkle some chopped onions.
  12. Serve it with hot tea.

Note - You can use frozen peas instead of fresh peas. You just need to microwave the peas with water for 4-5 minutes.

You can even spread some grated cheese on the top.
