Wheat Pancake

Wheat dosa is our instant breakfast recipe. When  I don't have time and didn't prepare anything for breakfast, I simply make this dosa. We all love it very much. 

This whole wheat dosa is made with wheat flour, jaggery, and semolina. Its a perfect food for babies, toddlers, or kids. You can pack this dosa in your kid's Tiffin as well. 

Let's learn how to make this wonderful wheat dosa at home.

Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2 - 3

  • 2 tbsp Semolina 
  • 1 large cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Jaggery Syrup
  • 1/8 cup Grated Coconut, fresh
  • Ghe
  • Salt
  • Honey
  1. Combine jaggery syrup, salt, semolina and wheat flour in a large bowl. Mix well.
  2. Heat a pan and add 1 tbsp ghee.
  3. Pour the ladleful batter and make it circular. 
  4. Cover the pan and cook from both the sides till golden brown.
  5. Wheat Dosa or Wheat Pancake is ready to serve.
  6. Pour the drops of honey and serve hot. 
Tip - Eat the dosa when it is hot, it will taste awesome. 
You can keep the leftover batter in the refrigerator, it will stay good for one day.
The color of dosa depends on the color of jaggery.
