Veg Shahi Kabab

Shahi Kebab or popularly known as Chane Ke Kebab is made of chickpea and flavored with spices. The kebab's have great taste. They are crispy from outside and soft from inside.

Make the mixture ahead and just deep fry before you want to serve. It will save time.

Servings: 4 - 5


  1. Add chickpea paste, sugar, red chili powder, crushed ginger, garlic, green chili, cumin seeds,  coriander leaves, turmeric powder, add salt the taste, grated cheese, and baking soda. Mix well.
  2. Add cornflour and water to make a smooth paste. The paste should not be too thick or too thin.
  3. Make a small ball out of chickpea mixture and place cashew nut at the center.
  4. Heat oil for deep frying.
  5. Dip the rounded Kebab in corn flour paste. Coat evenly.
  6. Gently drop in the hot oil and fry till light golden brown on low flame.
  7. Shahi Kebab is ready to serve.
  8. Serve with Tomato Ketchup or Green Chutney.
