Aloo Palak Paratha

Aloo and palak are some of the most popular and favorite combinations. 

Aloo and palak are stuffed in a wheat ball and then the paratha is made. This healthy and delicious paratha can be a great item for your kids Tiffin. 

Even you can make it at breakfast as its simple and quick. 

Let's learn how to make aloo palak paratha at home.

Cooking Time: 20 Minutes
Servings: 2 - 3 

  • 1 Tbsp fennel seeds, ginger, garlic, and green chili crushed
  • 20 To 25 chopped Spinach leaves
  • 1  Peeled, boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1 Cup wheat flour
  • Maida
  •  2 tbsp oil
  • Salt
  • Water
  1. Grind seeds, ginger, garlic, and green chili to a smooth paste. 
  2. In a large bowl, combine spinach leaves, ginger-garlic-chili paste, potatoes, and oil. Mix well.
  3. Add in salt and wheat flour. Start kneading by adding little water.
  4. Once the dough is ready, we are not keeping to rest. As spinach will get loosen and the dough will become thin.
  5. Heat a Tawa.
  6. Make a large ball out of dough and dip in maids
  7. Roll the dough to a medium size paratha.
  8. Roast on Tawa. Apply oil or ghee to both sides.
  9. Aaloo Palak Paratha is ready to eat. 
  10. Serve hot paratha with chutney, tomato ketchup, or even with tea.
