Wheat Biscuit

Wheat biscuit/Atta biscuit is typically made with wheat flour. Maida is not used at all. So the biscuits are suitable from kids to adults.

They can be served as snack with evening tea. Furthermore, pack them into your kids tiffin box and let them enjoy with their friends.

The varieties includes with oats, Maida in place of wheat flour or you can combine the flour whatever you like.

You can add chocolate, ginger and cumin or even nuts for more delectable taste. You can make them in any shape you like.

  1. Add powdered sugar into warm milk and stir well to get the mixture combined very well.
  2. Let it cool down completely.
  3. In another large bowl, add semolina, wheat flour, dry fruits, cardamom powder and 1/2 cup butter. Mix well.
  4. Once everything is combined, add warm milk slowly and make a smooth, semi-thick dough.
  5. Make lemon size balls out of the mixture and flatten them with palm.
  6. Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan.
  7. Deep fry the biscuits till golden brown.
  8. Store in an airtight container once cooled.
  9. These biscuits are soft when they are hot but turns crunchy once they cool down.
