Aloo Manchurian

Aloo Manchurian is a popular Ind-Chinese recipe easy to make and very tasty. If you know how to make Gobi Manchurian, you can easily make this spicy dish.

Serve it as a starter dish/evening snack or even appetizer, i am sure your family and friends are going to love this.

It is known to be the best combination of sweetness from aloo and spicy, sour taste from different sauces. I usually have this dish with steamed rice and it goes really very well with it. But yes, you can have it as a starter.

Servings : 3 - 4


Recipe :-
  1. Boil potatoes in pressure cooker.
  2. Peel and chop the potatoes.
  3. Add Maida, corn flour, salt, chili powder in a large and mix well.
  4. Add a little to make a smooth paste.
  5. Add chopped potatoes in the paste and mix well.
  6. Heat oil in a pan.
  7. Drop the potatoes slowly in the hot oil.
  8. Fry until they become golden brown & crispy.
  9. Remove and drain the excess oil on tissue paper. Keep aside.
  10. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan 2 tbsp and add,onion, garlic and fry Until the light golden brown.
  11. Add capsicum and saute for few seconds.
  12. Add tomato ketchup, chili sauce, vinegar, soya sauce mix well. Add salt.
  13. Dissolve one tbsp of corn flour in half cup of water.
  14. Pour it in the pan. And let it cook for couple of minutes.
  15. Add fried potatoes and mix well.
  16. Hot Aaloo Manchurian is ready to serve.
