Cheese Garlic Bread

Quick and easy snack you will never forget. Tasty, cheesy garlic bread comes under 30 minutes. When you are in a hurry, try this super easy dish with minimum ingredients.

Or you can serve it as a side dish with Pasta or soup for dinner or on any other occasion. Here you are given a free hand to choose the ingredients. You can use any bread like white bread or brown bread, cheddar cheese or processed cheese or a mix of these two.

Make it in the oven or on Tawa whatever is available at your home. Just make sure to use thick bottom Tawa/skillet for it.

So let's see how to make this yummy dish.

Cooking Time:  30 Minutes
Servings :  3 - 4

  • 3 - 4 White bread slices
  • 2 - 3 tsp salted butter, room temperature
  • 2- 3 medium garlic cloves
  • 1 cup cheese, grated
  • Red chili flakes
  • Black pepper powder
  • Salt as required
  • Coriander leaves, finely chopped
  1. Add butter in a bowl and grate the garlic pods directly into the butter. Mix it very well. 
  2. Add grated cheese and coriander leaves to the mixture. Mix well.
  3. Spread this garlic-butter mixture evenly onto each slice
  4. Spread grated cheese over each slice
  5. Sprinkle black pepper powder, red chili flakes, coriander leaves, and salt over it.
  6. Brush some butter onto a pan.
  7. Place the slices over the pan. 
  8. Fry on low heat till the edges are lightly golden and cheese melts. 
  9. Do not flip to the other side. 
  10. Switch off the gas and cut the slices into the desired shape. 
  11. Serve the delicious hot garlic bread with tomato ketchup.
