Banana Cutlet

Sweet banana cutlet is a recipe made up of sweet/ripe banana which is sweet in taste. Unlike veg or non-veg cutlets, which are spicy, this is a simple yet delicious dish. A sugar-free dish, highly recommended for diabetic people.

Cooking Time : 30 Minutes
Servings : 7 - 8 cutlets

Ingredients :
  • 3 ripe banana
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 - 3 tsp ghee/butter/oil
 Recipe :
  1. Steam the banana in a pressure cooker with skin on. 
  2. Once cooked, peel the skin and mash them.
  3. Add grated coconut and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  4. Take out a small portion and flatten to the shape of the cutlet.
  5. Dip in milk and roll in breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat ghee/butter/oil in a pan.
  7. Shallow fry banana cutlets. 
  8. Both sides should be golden brown in color. 
  9. Remove on absorbent paper to drain excess butter.
  10. Serve hot with tea.
