Churma Ladoo

Churma Ladoo is very popular sweet dish in Rajsthan. Though the process of making these ladoos is bit lengthy, you should give it a try on this diwali.

Servings : 5

Ingredients
  •  2 cup wheat flour
  • 2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cup ghee
  • cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds
  • Dry Fruits
Recipe :
  1. In a non-stick kadhai, heat ghee. Let it melt completely.
  2. Take the melted ghee in a bowl and add wheat flour and powdered sugar in it. 
  3. Add dry fruits to it. Mix well.
  4. Keep the mixture in a thin cloth and put it in pressure cooker for 10 - 15 minutes.
  5. Let it cool.
  6. Add cardamom powder to it. 
  7. Knead the mixture into a stiff dough.
  8. Take small mixture on your palm and shape into a round ball. 
  9. Roll over Sesame seeds till they are evenly coated from all sides.
  10. Repeat the process for remaining dough. 
  11. Arrange all the Churma ladoos in a plate and serve. 
  12. Or store them in an air-tight container to enjoy later.
