Ingredients:
- 1 cup lentil
- 1/2 cup rice
- 2 tsp ghee (Dalda)
- 2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp mustard powder
- 1 egg yolk
- 50 gm cheese, grated
- salt
- pepper
- 40 gram flour (Maida)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp parsley, chopped
- Wash lentils and soak in boiled water for at least 2 hours.
- Now pressure cook the lentils and drain all the water.
- Now grind it in mixer.
- Cook the rice.
- Now combine mashed lentils, rice, salt and grated cheese. Keep it aside.
- Heat ghee in a pan and roast maida in it. Now add mustard powder and milk to it making a thick paste.l
- Now add onion, parsley and egg yolk. Add pepper and salt to it. Mix well.
- Now add lentil mixture and allow it to cool.
- Add salt and pepper in dry maida.
- Make small balls of lentils mixture. Dip them first in dry maida later in egg and breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls from both sides till golden brown.
- Serve hot with tomato ketch-up.
