Spinach-Paneer Raita

Nutritious Spinach-Paneer Raita made up of spinach and Paneer. Chilled Curd & Spinach is anytime good for our body especially in the summer season. A perfect side-dish for all spicy main course dishes.

Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 2-3

Ingredients:
  • 1 bunch of spinach leaves
  • 100 gram Paneer
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 cup sweet curd
  • salt, to taste
  • 1 tsp oil
  • Roasted Cumin seeds, powdere
Recipe:
  1. Clean and wash spinach. Remove stems. Steam over low heat until cooked.
  2. Upon cooling, drain the water completely and puree in the mixer.
  3. Add green chillies while grinding.
  4. Cut paneer into small squares.
  5. In a bowl, add salt, curd, spinach puree, Paneer cubes and mix well.
  6. Add powdered cumin seeds and mix well.
  7. Heat oil in a small pan. Give tadka of Mustard seeds and Fenugreek seeds. Fry until they start spluttering.
  8. Pour this tadka on Spinach-Paneer mixture. And spread some red chilli powder. 
  9. Serve as a side-dish with rice or roti.
