Semolina and Coconut Sheera

My today's morning was very pleasant. Why? Today i made semolina sheera, a sweet dish, made up of semolina, grated coconut and jaggery. Everyone is very happy after eating this sweet dish and i got a pat on the back. So read this easy to make and yummy recipe and get a pat on your back from your loved ones.


Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes
Servings: 5-6

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cup semolina
  • 1 1/2 cup jaggery
  • 1 cup freshly grated coconut
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup ghee
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
Recipe:
  1. Heat ghee in a pan, when its hot, add semolina to it. Roast until semolina turns into golden color.
  2. Now add jaggery to this semolina mixture and keep stirring until jaggery melts.
  3. Once jaggery melts, add water and milk to the pan.
  4. Cover the pan with lid and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Now add grated coconut and again cook for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
  7. Turn off the heat and serve Semolina Sheera.
