Khajur Chutney

Prepared with dates and tamarind, this chutney tastes sweet and sour. Easily go with any kind of Chaat.It can be stored in fridge upto a month and in freezer for 5-6 months.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

  • 6 dates (khajur)
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 cup tamarind
  • 1/2 cup jaggery
  • red chilli powder
  • salt
  1. Soak dates and tamarind separately for 2-3 hours.
  2. Combine all ingredients including dates and tamarind in mixer and grind to a smooth paste.
  3. At the time of serving, add 1 cup water or as required to get a thin chutney.
