Ice Cream Sandwich

A perfect valentine day gift. Home made ice cream sandwich with own flavored combination. Very tasty and can be enjoyed at any time of the year. 

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 cups ice creams (any flavor)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  1. Preheat Oven to 350 D.F.
  2. Melt butter on stove.
  3. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract and beat again.
  5. Now add flour, salt and cocoa powder and beat until smooth.
  6. Prepare a 10 x 15 inch baking pan with plastic sheet and spread the mixture evenly on it.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes. The cake is done when the edges begin to pull away from pan.
  8. Let it cool then transfer to wire rack.
  9. Take ice cream out of freezer. It should still be hard.
  10. Cut the cake in middle.
  11. Spread the ice cream on one part of cake and cover it with another part of the cake.
  12. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
  13. Place in freezer until firm.
  14. When they have set up remove from freezer and cut in any shape. 
  15. Eat Immediately.
  16. They remain for a week when wrapped in plastic and kept in freezer.
